My tips for your skin routine
Winter skin care
which is damaged by the cold, the low temperatures and the stoves that heat the house and also cause dryness:
Facial cleansing
The face should be cleaned with gentle cleansers that do not dry out the skin's natural oils. It is very important not to wash your face with soap more than twice a day in order not to destroy the outer layer of the skin.
Drink at least two liters of water - in order to give water to the living skin (dermis - from the inside) we must do it the simple way, it will be possible to see an improvement in the function of the skin immediately.
The epidermis, the outer layer of the skin is a protective shell for the living skin and body organs in general.
It is very important not to neglect this layer and treat it regularly:
Moisturize the dead skin cells - be sure to use a moisturizer with a texture adapted by a beautician that contains moisturizing factors (water) and humectants, they are the most important part of the moisturizer and it is important to find out that they are of plant origin and not mineral, which is a cheap substitute that many manufacturers use.
Eye cream - over the age of 25, it is advisable to add to the care routine a special preparation for the skin of the eyes (unless you use a general moisturizer that is suitable for both the face and the eyes). The application of the preparation will be done with light drops and not with vigorous application, in circular movements from the inside of the lower eyelid to the brow bone.
Protecting the skin from the sun's rays, as we know, the number one cause of accelerated aging and skin cancer is the sun. It is important to make sure to apply a protective product on a daily basis over the moisturizer and before make-up. Even at the end of summer, continue to apply sunscreen.
If you are exposed to the sun regularly throughout the morning and afternoon hours, you must apply a protective product every hour and a half to two hours on average or sprinkle a protective powder, which is a much simpler and more aesthetic solution.
renew! As we age from the age of 17-18 onwards, the rate of renewal of our skin cells becomes slower. In order to preserve the youthful appearance, it is important to stimulate the skin's metabolism with a re-formulation that will stimulate the rate of cell renewal. Renewal is an active preparation that must be carefully selected by a qualified beautician to match the type, tone, condition, and age of your skin specifically to the renewing composition.
Once every two to three months it is advisable to have a facial treatment by a beautician who during the treatment will contribute to increased exfoliation than what is done at home, will clean the hair follicles from those (black) comedones that expand the pores and cause an unaesthetic appearance. Sometimes even, a variety of treatment will suit you for a specific purpose if there is a cosmetic skin problem
